Hi, my name is Merrilyn Long Sikorski, and I am known as the queen of optical alternatives because I have dedicated my life to empowering the blind and visually impaired, drawing from my own experience as someone who is legally blind.

An example of what I have achieved is guiding a young man from the brink of suicide to becoming an internationally recognized artist, speaker, and museum board member, transforming his life beyond what he had ever imagined.

What I am up to now is launching a consulting service that offers emotional support, tools, and resources to those newly diagnosed with life-altering conditions, starting right in the doctor's office.

My mission is to ensure that no patient ever leaves a doctor's office hearing the words, "there is nothing more we can do for you."
