Support MGC's Exciting Move to Brooklyn

MGC is on the move!

Building on our nearly 40 year history, Manhattan Graphics Center (MGC) now has the opportunity to partner with Powerhouse Arts in Brooklyn, securing a long term home for this beloved community print studio while we keep growing! The support of our community helped us through the pandemic, and we need your support to help usher us into this exciting new era. If you are in the position to contribute, any amount will help to defray the cost of our move and set-up costs in Brooklyn, while we prepare for the complete launch of the new studio in September. As big as our exciting news is, the moving of a printshop is just as big. We have a fundraising goal of $55,000 to help with moving equipment and setting ourselves in the expanded space.

Manhattan Graphics Center (MGC) supports the learning and practice of fine art printmaking by providing an affordable, inclusive, professional studio and exhibition space, where a community of printmakers at all stages of artistic development can create and present their work. To encourage greater appreciation of printmaking, we offer public programs, including: classes in traditional and experimental techniques; scholarships; artist talks; and outreach to public school students; as well as exhibitions including member, curated, and exchange shows.
