Support Micah's Fight and Family Stability

Hello my name is Kristi i made this fundraiser in hopes for a miracle. I have four amazing children and my youngest son Micah (will be two on June 1st) was born with an extremely complex heart, as well as Heterotaxy and asplenia, At 9 days old he has his first procedure and that was a Cath to put in a PDA stent, with many trips to the ER and doctors in between he had his first open heart surgery in January 2023, once recovered he was doing well until October 2023 a trip to the er led to finding out that he now also has pulmonary vein stenosis, yet another very complex condition with no cure. He had his second open heart surgery in January 2024 and has had many complications since he has been in the CICU ever since, after the surgery he had a pulmonary hemorrhage that put him on life support, while recovering from that they had to do another Cath as well and again he had another pulmonary hemorrhage and was put back on life support, once off the life support he has been stable for the most part, a couple of weeks back he did become severly dehydrated and went into shock, luckily he is ok now. He now has a Trach as well as a surgical feeding tube. he has had a total of 5 Cath procedures and 2 open heart surgeries. He continues to fight everyday to get back home. As of right now they are thinking the end of may mid June. With that being said we have become extremely financially unstable, I am the sole provider for my family and due to the extended stay at the hospital i am no longer able to work until after he is home. Micah's father and i are required to split the week at the hospital until he is discharged. making it impossible for either one of us to work right now. The home that i am in is not suitable for Micah due to the landlords lack of upkeep, the electric would never pass for Micah's equipment to run on and the home is infested with insects, all the sprays, traps, bait has done nothing and they refuse to do anything about it. I have to be out of this home by June first. I have tried to apply for TCI, TDI, unemployment and i do not qualify for any of them, i am on the waiting list for housing and i have reached out to many agency's to try to find help and its just not working out. There is one agency that would be able to help with the first and security for a new place but they need to have proof that we would be able to keep up with that and we can not provide that proof because it will take at least 2 months of Micah being home in order to get back on track. It is going to be a complete change of life for all of us and we need time to get it all going again.
