On July 14th Mike was riding his motorcycle through BC when the unthinkable happened and he got into a severe accident that caused extensive injuries. Mike needed to be airlifted to the Vancouver hospital, where it was determined that he had broken nearly all of his ribs, injured his sternum, broken vertebrae in his back, and had a collapsed lung. Mike was put into a medically induced coma to undergo the necessary surgeries and to stabilize his condition. Mike awoke in a hospital room a week after the accident, with very little recollection of what occurred and paralysis from the chest down. Mike is in stable condition following surgeries, but he will be out of work for the foreseeable future as he is not expected to regain his lost movement at this time. We would like to be able to cover the costs of Mikes's family’s stay in Vancouver, and cover Mike’s bills so he can focus on the long healing journey ahead. Any additional money raised will go towards other medical costs and equipment. The road to recovery will be long and tiring so we would like to reduce the financial strain this will have on Mike and his family. Let’s rally for Mike in this extremely difficult time.
