Support Michael Jean's Family After Tragedy
Donation protected
One of our own ATEC/EOS family has been struck by a terrible tragedy during this holiday season. Last Thursday, during a particularly windy day outside of Philadelphia, our EOS Field Engineer Michael Jean lost his loving wife and mother to their two young children. Kelsey Jean was driving their 5-year old daughter on a local road when a large tree fell on and crushed their vehicle. Their daughter was rushed to the hospital and has since been released, but heartbreakingly, Kelsey didn't make it. Michael is now faced with the unimaginable task of navigating this new reality during the holidays and ultimately raising two young kids on his own. Even more devastating, Kelsey was the full-time caregiver for their daughter, who has special needs.
Any donations from friends and colleagues will go directly to helping with monthly expenses and medical bills, as well as ultimately assisting in funding the full-time care for their daughter, who will continue to need support. Funds are being released directly to Michael's Aunt, Becky Heyward-Jean, who is helping him manage logistics/expenses and depositing funds into the trusts that have been set up for each of the children.
Thank you in advance for any donation, big or small, towards helping Michael and his kids through this incredibly difficult holiday season and beyond.
