Support Michael Jeffers' Neck Surgery Recovery

My name is Michael Jeffers, but to many of you, just Jeffers. I've worked in the restaurant industry for nearly 20 years, and 12 of those have been spent here in the Macon/Warner Robins area.

I've had a lot of good times with many of you, and some of you, we have gone through some serious struggles together. In light of that, I'm asking for help.

After a car accident, I discovered there has been some severe deterioration of the vertebrae in my neck (C5 and C6). The exact cause...years of working in the business or genetic...I'm unsure. Many of you that work with me have seen how much it pains me and interferes with my daily life for the past 5 months.

I was finally cleared for surgery on the 10th of this month. I will be receiving an implant. My downtime will be a month to 6 weeks for healing and I will have no income (no disability insurance or other recourse). Some of you, I've raised money for before and asking for you to do the same for me.
