Support Michael Puckett's Heart Recovery

Hello everyone, my name is Brittany and I am one of Elise Puckett’s best friends. As most of you know, their family was hit with a scare, and her husband Michael suffered a sudden STEMI (ST -segment elevation myocardial infarction) on late Sunday morning. He had 100% blockage of his right coronary artery. This type of heart attack is very serious, and Michael is considered an extremely rare case, and truly so lucky to have survived this.

Michael was having sudden chest pain after coaching their younger son’s flag football game on Sunday, he drove home not knowing what was going on. Elise noticed when he came home that he looked very ill, and was covered in sweat and it was an urgent matter. (As the one who calls Elise for my own medical questions, if she says you have to go to the hospital…she’s usually right.) She took him directly to Tripoint hospital, and her quick actions saved his life. He was critical care transported to Lake West Hospital, where they immediately rushed him to the cardiac cath lab to remove the blockage in his artery, and place a stent to keep it open and return the blood flow. Though Michael is now home, his road to recovery is still up in the air. It’s a waiting game, and expenses for a large family do not stop.

As the main provider of their family of 7, a sudden slew of medical bills, and unknown amounts of time off of work, they need all the support they can get. The money raised can help them with upcoming medical bills, typical bills, and other household expenses.
