Support Michael Zimlich's Mental Health Recovery

Hello, my name is Erin Grimes and I am reaching out to ask for financial support for The Zimlich Family.

A few months ago, my brother-in-law and beloved veterinarian, Dr. Michael Zimlich, fondly known as "Dr. Z.", was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) with Melancholic Features, Cognitive Decline, and Psychomotor Retardation/Impairment.

This has been an extremely serious and potentially life-threatening situation that has led to the substantial increase in medical bills and expenses in order to seek the ever-changing treatment he needs.

Furthermore, Michael has been physically and mentally unable to work since the summer and has a long road to recovery ahead. Daily bills and medical expenses are quickly stacking up and medical insurance has only covered a small portion.

His wife, Jenni, is doing all she possibly can to care for Michael, who needs around-the-clock care, while also working as a virtual public school teacher and caring for their daughter, Delaney, who lives with the physical as well as medical challenges of Spina Bifida.

It is apparent that mental health is not an easy subject to talk about; however, it is real and is certainly a crucial part of keeping our bodies healthy, happy, and functioning.

The entire Zimlich Family is struggling to pay their bills and time is of the essence. I formed this page to allow the opportunity for others to show this special family that so many of us care for their well-being.

I kindly ask to lift Michael, Jenni, and Delaney in prayer for peace, comfort, and miraculous healing and recovery.
