Please help Michaels cancer battle by Colleen Degenhardt

My name is Colleen Degenhardt and I am a close friend of Michael Shapiro. 7 years ago Michael was diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer. His second surgery in July caused all sorts of complication. 4 weeks after surgery he had spinal fluid leakage and was fitted with a shunt in his back for drainage. 2 weeks later Michael had a stroke and was back in ICU in the hospital for a month. He needed reconstructive surgery for his back due to this. He was in hospital for 4 months and 3 months in rehab, 7 months away from his family. A month after being home Michael was back in hospital with excruciating pain. The cancer started growing and took away Michael’s ability to walk.Hes been dealing with mentally , physically , emotionally issues. Michael also needs a wheelchair accessible van to get around. He has drs send transportation for him but for anything personal is out of pocket. To make his vehicle accessible is $26000 plus.
