Hello, dear friends. I am desperately trying to get my husband Michael and I over to Europe to live with my cousins in The Netherlands due to Michael's very serious health issues. Michael has emphysema and we have extremely limited resources and funds. Relocating to The Netherlands will afford Michael more comprehensive and much, much less expensive healthcare options, as it is socialized medicine. We are also trying to transport Michael's emotional support animal, Mama, with him, but that too is so very expensive. If Michael stays in the U.S., his health (for myriad reasons according to his respiratory and cardiac specialists, who now fear that, among other things, any serious infection is now potentially deadly to him because of his already seriously compromised immune system) will deteriorate slowly but completely. He also has an arrested rare form of "dementia' stemming from PTSD as a result of his years as a Wartime Veteran (Desert Sheild), for which he receives no Veterans Benefits whatsoever. I would never, ever ask this favor for myself. I have been financially self-sufficient since I was eight years-old (I had to stop working years ago, as I have tremendous difficulty walking now as a result of severe Sciatica). But, I have nothing to show for anything financially. E.T. residuals are quite small and very infrequent. I love my husband of 32 years more than anything in this world, as does his son, and we will do anything for him. Michael is me and I am Michael, figuratively speaking. Utterly inseparable. Would you consider helping us with a small donation?
