To Our Friends & Family,

Our dear Michele has been struggling with her health, as many of you know. She has been dealing with persistent and ongoing pneumonia, pleurisy, a cracked disk in her back from a car accident, the flu, edema, and blood clots in her lungs. She suffers from severe allergic & steroid-dependent asthma, so this makes treating her much more complicated. She has been suffering from this for months, with several trips to the hospital.

Add to this, the home they rent is currently being tested for mold and will probably be under construction soon to remediate the mold. Moving into another place will be necessary. With Michele being so sick she’s behind in her work and could use financial support to help her through everything.

Thank you so much for reading this. We hope to raise enough money to get Michele through this year, catch up on everything, get her moved, and take the stress off of her while she recovers.

Her doctor said that the blood clots were caused from stress, allergens (mold) and weight. The high doses of steroids make it impossible to lose weight because it makes you ravenously hungry all the time. By getting into a place with no mold she will be able to wean herself off of the steroids much quicker. With financial support, she won’t have the stress and can focus on her weight loss. Getting her healthy and living a productive life is doable with financial support. We hope that you can contribute even a small amount.
