Support Michelle Through Her Cancer Journey

The journey we call life is so fragile, it has never been more clear to Michelle and Manveer than now.

In December 2021, Michelle noticed a unusual lump around her collar bone by her neck. After weeks of numerous tests in January 2022, they confirmed the words Michelle never thought she would hear nor want to hear, especially at the age of 33, cancer. She was diagnosed on February 1st, 2022. It has been such a tough journey the past two and 1/2 months, with weekly doctor appointments, labs and a variety of tests.

The oncology team are now coordinating with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas to oversee Michelle's care as well as, to determine the type of cancer, stage and treatment plan.

They will be traveling March 2nd for her first consultation appointment to MD Anderson. Michelle and Manveer will be returning to the hospital on March 8th to prepare for surgery on March 11th. The goal is to remove, if possible, the entire tumor. They will do a biopsy to determine the type of cancer, stage and treatment plan. She will be required to stay in the hospital for a minimum of three to four days for pain management. After Michelle is discharged, she will have a four to six week recovery process that will require outpatient therapy.

Through all of this, Michelle & Manveer were suppose to be get married in May of this year. God had different plans for them. With Michelle's recent diagnosis, they choose to have an intimate ceremony at their church and get marriedon January 7th. They are looking forward to celebrating with family and friends at a later time.

The funds raised will help go towards Michelle's medical expenses between her care she receives at Lemmen Holton Cancer and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Donations will also help with unpaid time off for Michelle, help with travel expenses & accommodations traveling to Houston, TX.

We want to express how grateful we are for all the family and friends that have helped Michelle and Manveer in so many ways during this very difficult time. It means so much to them! As they start this new unknown journey ahead, we ask for you to keep them in your prayers and thoughts.
