Microbiome Research Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to helping patients with diseases of the gut flora (microbiome). 

Not surprisingly, we have been blown a little off course in the short term by COVID-19 and hence have put a lot of research into this area since this virus has an impact on the gut, brain, lungs, heart, and more, and it is killing patients globally.

We are currently supporting FDA Phase IIa clinical trials for both preventing and treating patients with COVID-19 using novel drug combinations and monitoring the gut impact for rapid clearance of this infection. We urgently need more help to complete trials in this arena and continue the research into the impact of this deadly virus and it's eradication from the gut biome and elsewhere. This is pioneering research and hence your help, we believe will save lives. 

We need to raise at least $1m in July to enable us to continue. It seems a lot but in our view, it will make the difference between life and death for many people who are or will shortly be at risk of infection. 

Any funds not used for this COVID campaign will be used to support our broader research. 

Our broader goals are:
1. To support and advance clinical microbiome research in diseases of the gut flora
2. To help find healing solutions and new treatment options for patients 
3. To give hope and provide funding aid for patients in need
