Support Mid Century Sacramento After Warehouse Fire
Donation protected
On the morning of June 5, 2024, tragedy struck Mid Century Sacramento when Derrick Warmerdam's, my son, warehouse and storefront was destroyed by fire. While most of his inventory and infrastructure was lost, we all are immensely grateful that no one was harmed.
Additional video from KCRA 3 on the night of the fire:
Since its inception in 2014, Mid Century Sacramento was born out of a passion for obtaining, preserving and restoring Mid Century Modern furniture and Design. What began in a garage evolved into a thriving business, eventually finding its home in Downtown Sacramento. Over time his dedication earned us recognition not just locally, but across the nation and beyond.
Derrick's dedicated team, who poured their hearts into this endeavor, faces the daunting task of rebuilding. However, they cannot do it alone. Every contribution, regardless of size, will make a significant difference in our ability to rebuild, keep our staff paid, and continue serving our customers.
As a gesture of our gratitude, he pledge's to honor each donation with an equivalent credit toward future purchases once we've rebuilt. Your support will not only aid in his recovery but also ensure your place in their journey forward.
Thank you for standing by them, and they look forward to welcoming you back into the Mid Century Sacramento family.
All donations will be going directly to Derrick Warmerdam (beneficiary) and his business, Mid Century Sacramento, for the purpose paying staff, while they set up temporary operations in a new space.
