Support Midwest Devo Riders' European Dream

This year, six dedicated Midwest Devo families are embarking on an exciting adventure to the Kerstperiode cyclocross races in Europe to give their Devo riders the opportunity to compete in the biggest races of their young careers. For some of the kids, that means seven iconic races in two weeks. A couple of Devo athletes have the potential for even more pending USA Cycling invitations to the World Cup races around the same period. These six riders have shown a significant commitment to this sport by traveling nationally this year racing UCI-level races and to the Midwest Devo community over the years. We’re thrilled for them.

Competing at these prestigious events presents fantastic opportunities for them to travel overseas and race their bikes in the biggest races with the toughest competitors. This is a dream come true for these young athletes, and we want to help make it happen for them and their families.

International racing comes with its own set of challenges, mainly financial ones!

Why We Need Your Support:

Participating in the Kerstperiode means facing significant expenses—travel, accommodation, support fees, etc. Each rider has invested their heart and resources into cyclocross, and we want to ensure that financial constraints don’t prevent them from showcasing their talents on this international stage.

This effort is driven first and foremost by the families of the kids going. If they weren’t 100% committed to doing the research, planning, organizing, covering the costs, and creating these experiential opportunities for their kids, these kinds of trips would remain a dream. They are pioneering future opportunities and doing the heavy lifting to build a future where we can imagine creating an opportunity for any Midwest Devo kid interested in racing at the highest level. Know that each family is significantly invested in covering the majority of their personal travel and accommodations.

Your donations this year help offset the collective operational costs of running a race team for this block of races and is our way of supporting these kids and investing in the vision for future trips for even more kids.
