In early January 2024, our good friend, magical being, and Master Wizard, Mike Bregel was admitted to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester to receive medical treatment for what started as a gut-related issue. After many tests, doctors shared that results indicate Stage 4 stomach cancer. More test results are pending and a treatment plan will be developed in the coming days.

This Gofundme is intended to support Mike & his family through this difficult journey. They have incurred an immense amount of medical debt already and will be without a monthly income for the foreseeable future. Let's all do what we can! Mike, Mary & Nyla need our support.

Mike's sister, Nina, has been posting on the family's behalf on a Caring Bridge site. Nina has shared that Mike has 3 rules for all on this journey with him:

Mike is not a victim or defined by the diagnosis of cancer. Cancer itself is rooted in possibilities.
Mike is honoring the process occurring in his body by living in freedom to be at peace leaving his earthly home and simultaneously at peace kicking cancer out of his body into outer space.
It should not need to be said, but actions based in the culture of creating fun and joy.
