Hello. Michael checked himself into the VA on February 13 and was admitted into the ICU within hours. He has double pneumonia, probable COPD, unidentified Bacterial infection and on Feb 21- had a surgically repaired Duodenal ulcer. This evening Mike was now also diagnosed with pulmonary embolie (PE). Each of these are a significant medical issue and he is battling all of these at same time.
He remains in ICU and has a dedicated care team. We know his recovery will be a long process and those of you who know Mike know he would never ask for help. In fact - i know i will receive hell for posting this when finds or hears about - but we want to give him every option for a healthy and safe recovery.
This go fund me will help with him missing wages and offset his new medical bills.
