Support Mike Jacobs' Road to Recovery

We need all hands on deck on this one. Mike Jacobs is a well known gentleman in Ashtabula County known and loved by many. Sadly, Mike was in a terrible accident last Thursday. He was standing outside of his vehicle and not only was his truck hit but his body was directly struck by a vehicle moving at 50 mph. The emergency room said it was a miracle he is alive. I can't even begin to list the injuries as it is a long list. If anyone wants details, please message me and I will check with Mike as I have a great respect for his privacy. If it weren't for his great MMA skills by being situationally aware and trying to dodge the crash, the outcome could have been much worse. I wanted to start this fundraiser because he obviously cannot work and unfortunately he was not able to get unemployment. This means not only will it be very difficult to pay bills but he also has huge medical bills now that will be almost impossible to keep up with. It will be a long recovery and he is unsure when he can get back to work. We want him to focus on healing and getting better, not worrying about finances. I met him when my children started MMA with him, Antonio, and Frank as their sensei's last year. He was the first to introduce himself and shake my hand. Mike made my kids feel comfortable and welcomed. It is obvious that he is a genuine, kind man who truly cares for the well being of his students amongst all others. Mike has had it rough in the past, as most of us had, yet despite his struggles, he is always smiling and trying to help others. He makes all of us laugh and always takes time to chat with us at the end of lessons. I would also like to mention his interest in the well being of the children at home. He is always checking in to make sure their academics and home lives are stable and well. Mike is also a very caring and loving father and brother. He is always there for his family and does everything he can to help everyone and even encourage and uplift others. Because Mike is such a great guy, he did not go after the person who struck him for money. Medical bills and monthly bills are going to prove very hard to manage. I started the fundraiser off at an amount that should hopefully get him through the summer but am hoping to FAR exceed it's expectations because his truck is severely damaged as well. If anybody could PLEASE donate as much as possible to help him through these very difficult times, it would be a true miracle. You all know even just a small amount from many people can add up so quickly, so please share across all social media platforms, texts, word of mouth and reel in as much help as possible. This truly is someone who really deserves it and needs it.
