Support Mike Romero's Recovery Journey

Hello everyone!

I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of my uncle and his family to help them during recovery. My uncle Mike is a hardworking, sole provider, dedicated to his family, and someone who goes above and beyond for his family and friends. Unfortunately, my uncle Mike was diagnosed with diverticulitis 2 years ago and up until recently has had numerous diverticulitis flare-ups, in total of 10. Along with diverticulitis, he was also diagnosed with stenosis and most recently early stage of colon cancer. Mike needed colorectal surgery to remove part of his colon that was damaged. Unfortunately, he had another flare-up on 9/5/24 that required ambulatory services. He was rushed to the hospital and symptoms worsened. He was admitted into the hospital and after a few hours, he developed appendicitis as well. Mike finally had his successful double surgery and is recovering slowly but surely. Unfortunately, he will need 2 months of recovery, therefore leaving the only person with income in his household down and unable to work for 2 months.
