Support Mike Stevenson

On Saturday July, 20th there was a serious accident on the track at First Tracks Cumberland involving multiple horses and drivers. Among those who were injured was my stepfather Mike Stevenson. Mike suffered many serious injuries, including many broken ribs (2-10 on both sides), a fractured eye socket, a punctured lung, and serious lacerations to his elbow and leg. Thankfully he is currently in stable condition in the ICU. The recovery will be long and difficult and the impact from these injuries will be severe and long lasting. Costs for medical care, horse care, cost of living and other issues will be a significant barrier to hurdle, beyond the physical and physiological recovery that will be needed as we move forward.
