Support Mike Tiberg's Memorial Garden at Munson

Donation protected
In addition to being one of the kindest, smartest, charismatic people you've ever met, Mike Tiberg was a pharmacist for over 45 years, serving 25 years at Munson Medical Center (MMC). The impact that Mike Tiberg had on the pharmacy profession, individual patients, students, residents, and pharmacy colleagues will never be forgotten.

In order to honor Mike for decades to come, we will be creating a memorial garden. This memorial will be open to all employees and public, alike, and will be located outside of the basement pharmacy, in between the main lobby and the emergency department at MMC. The design will include a memorial plaque, 2 benches, and lakeshore rock locally sourced from Old Mission Peninsula across from Power Island.

We are asking for donations from family, friends, and colleagues to support the development of this space (design pictured below), up to $4,000. If a surplus of funds are raised, they will be donated to the Michigan ALS Foundation. Thank you for any support you can provide, and please feel free to share this with others.

"For the most part, we don't get to choose how we leave this life, but we do get to choose how we live the life that we have and how we treat the people around us" - Dr. Michael D. Tiberg
