Support Mikey's Family Through Medical Crisis

Hi, I'm Dom, asking for support for my sister and her family.

My sister (Porscha) always wanted to be a mom, and 30 years ago she met her husband (Mikey). They have 7 kids total now, 6 boys and a girl. For the last 24 years, they've been primarily a single-income family with my sister at home managing the kids and the budget! BUT 2024 was a rough one, Mikey had a stroke early in the year and had to stop working while he recovered.

This week, Mike woke up screaming in the middle of the night in pain and had to be rushed to the ER and continues to be in the ICU. Initially, in a coma state, he has slowly regained the ability to communicate. They are running tests and scans to help figure out the next steps.

In the last several months, my sister was working less, as our father received treatment for liver cancer, then he transitioned to hospice home care, and 3 weeks ago he passed.

With so much going on, she also continued to manage her home and her children. My three oldest nephews are working and contributing, but Hawaii, inflation, and medical costs add up quickly!

My sister is momming at the HIGHEST level; anyone that knows her will attest to her generosity and strength. BUT she's going to need some assistance for a little bit as they continue to transition and figure out how best to bring her husband home. Anything you can give is appreciated.
