Support Mila's Journey to safety

Hello!

I want to share the story of my friend, named Liudmyla Prykhodko or simply Mila from Ukraine, that is living in Kryvyi Rih, where to this day are happening missile attacks that are targetting hospitals, residential buildings, schools etc. She is still in the city, that undergoes multiple assaults weekly as she can't afford to leave the country. She is a kind person with a big heart, that inspires me daily with her art. She is a hardworking person and a delight to be around and it pains me to see the horrors of her daily life. There's not enough food, work and she had to spend nights in the bomb shelter.

We've connected through shared interests and I immediately got comfortable talking to her as Mila is a kind person, an animal lover, and she can't leave her cat and run from her home without a plan. And it is not possible with the salary that she is getting paid by her work. Recently her work place told her that she might be laid off from the job, which will complicate moving out even further.

We want her to be able to leave the country with her cat, so she will be able to come to Latvia and live with me or to Lithuania to her mother. The fund is needed to help her sort out all the documents she and her cat will need going through Poland, to have her rest from the horrors of the war and have money for first months of adjusting in a new environment.
