Support Mila's Recovery and Rehabilitation

Hi,

My name is Milissa, friends call me Mila. On May 8th, I had a tragic slip and fall resulting in bilateral patellar tendon ruptures that required immediate surgery and rendered me unable to walk, drive or work. I am initiating this fundraiser request to help cover my medical expenses and help sustain my monthly bills while I get through Physical Therapy until I can return to work. In total, I will likely be out of work for 3 months and will have physical therapy for 6 months. I currently live in GA and was out of town in FL attempting to visit family for Mother's Day weekend. Therefore, my insurance coverage for my services are at a decreased rate due to being out of network and short term disability benefit provides very little.

I am 39, a healthcare worker, healthy, athletic, single independent woman, I have no children or pets and just need some assistance as I work to recover and regain my mobility. Every little bit to include prayers are greatly appreciated.
