Support Mila's Recovery from a Brain Tumor

Hello, my name is Angelita, an aunt of Cha, and I am organizing this fundraiser on her behalf who needs aid for her mother, Mila, who is also my sister.

Here is a message from her:

Hey guys, my name is Cha and I enabled this fundraiser to help support my mom, Mila.

For quick context, a few months ago, my mom started to have problems with swallowing her food and maintaining her balance so she went to the hospital to get it looked at. That is where we learned that secretly over the past few months, my mom had been growing a glioma, a type of tumor, on the stem of her brain. However, my mom is a hell of a fighter and has been battling this tumor head-on. She recently underwent an operation in a hospital in the Philippines where she resides and it turned out successful. However, she still needs to stay at the hospital to recover and wait till discharge which will mean additional costs. I have been trying to do all that I can to support my mother financially, unfortunately, my savings aren’t enough to fully support her and I am struggling to pay for the cost of the operation and get her the care that she needs.

To be transparent, I am not sure how much the total cost of the hospital expenses will be. However, what I do know is that the initial bill will cost me 12,000 dollars.

Anything and everything will help me at this point, no matter how small that amount is. My mom means the absolute world to me and I want her to get the help that she deserves. Again, my goal is 12,000 to help cover these expenses. The rest, I can probably handle myself. Thank you all so much for your help.
