Support Mildred Leon's Final Journey

Hello family, friends, and members of our community,

Our loving mother, Mildred Leon, is 65 years old and has been suffering from heart failure for many years. We have created this account to collect funds in preparation for our mother's funeral arrangements due to financial difficulties.

When my sister and I were teenagers, our mother was involved in a tragic car accident that caused a brain injury and our lives were changed forever. Even though she was not the same physically and mentally, there were many things that remained the same. Our mother was still full of joy and love and her devotion to God and her faith remained stronger than ever. Despite all of the challenges that my mother has faced, she has always fought like a champion with a smile on her face. Every time the medical team has given us devastating news, my mother has managed to shock them and overcome each and every obstacle by putting God first.

Recently, she was hospitalized with complications due to the heart failure. Our hope and her last wish was that she would be able to come home to spend her remaining time with her husband, family and loved ones.

My sister, Lymaris Alicea, has been working tirelessly with hospital doctors, nurses and staff to make her last wish of being able to come home a reality. Just when all preparations to bring her home were being finalized...we received devastating news from her doctors. We were told that my mother's condition has taken a turn for the worse and that her organs have started to shut down. Unfortunately, my mother has been given an estimate of two short weeks to live.

As you can imagine, we are devastated and unprepared for this tragic news. We would like to provide our mother with a proper service and burial as she deserves. This is why we are asking you to please make a donation if you can. Your donation, no matter the amount will make a meaningful difference. It will enable us to focus on my beautiful mother while she is still here without the added worry of financial stress.
