The Incident

On April 27th, our beloved dog Millie faced a terrifying ordeal right in the safety of our own backyard. She was viciously attacked and left severely injured. Despite the odds, Millie managed to escape, but not without sustaining serious wounds that required immediate medical attention.

Thanks to the swift action of our veterinary team, Millie underwent emergency surgery, which was crucial for her survival. We're relieved to share that the surgery was successful, and Millie is now back home with us, beginning her journey to recovery.

Millie isn't just a pet to us; she's an integral part of our family and a cherished companion to my daughter. Her gentle nature and unwavering loyalty have touched our hearts in countless ways. It breaks our hearts to see her endure such pain, especially when she was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time—in her own home, no less.

However, along with the relief of Millie's successful surgery comes a significant financial burden. As a full-time student currently not working, I'm unable to contribute financially, and my parents have had to take out a loan to cover Millie's medical expenses. The bills continue to mount, and we're reaching out to our community for support during this challenging time.
