Support Mimi’s Fight with Breast Cancer!

Here’s a quick story of why I’m fundraising for Mimi.

I was once a child in a new country without knowledge of the language & unsure how to make new friends. I looked over during church & saw this adorable & sweet girl sitting next to me in a lacy white dress. I whispered “your dress is pretty” in Spanish and she smiled and said “Gracias”. After church I asked her to be my friend and so it began. 38 years later, she has become my soul sister. I’ve seen her grow into this loving, generous, compassionate, hilariously witty adult. The person you want in your life for good. An incredible single mother and tenacious woman. A school teacher who devoted her time and her own money to invest in her students education. Anyone that knows her cannot picture life without her.

Mimi was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. She’s only 46 and should have a long life ahead. Those of us who adore her are doing everything to be of support. With that comes requesting and accepting help.

We ask that you do anything you can to support one of the good ones. She is one of the best ones and deserves it so much.

All funds raised will go to pay for medical treatments & surgery.

We will keep you updated on surgery dates & progress.
