Help Mina Fight Rare Sarcoma: Support Her Medical Journey
Dear Friends and Family,
We are reaching out today with a heavy heart to share the difficult news about our beloved niece, Mina Quiroga. Mina, just 18 years old, is the daughter of our eldest sister Barbara and her husband Dave. Our entire family has been shaken by Mina's recent diagnosis of a rare and aggressive type of sarcoma that has spread to her lungs.
Mina's journey will be a challenging one, requiring multiple rounds of intensive chemotherapy. Barbara, a dedicated teacher, has had to take a leave of absence from her position to provide full-time care for Mina. This sudden change has brought significant financial strain, with mounting medical bills and travel expenses.
No parent should have to worry about finances during such a difficult time. We have never asked for help in this way before, but this is a moment when we desperately need the support of our community. If you know us and care for our family, please consider making a donation to support Mina's fight. Every dollar will go towards her medical expenses, travel costs, and ensuring that Barbara and Dave can focus on what matters most: Mina's health and recovery.
Just one short month ago, Mina graduated from ASU Prep and was excitedly preparing to start community college. She dreams of becoming a psychologist or therapist, and we want to do everything we can to help her achieve that dream. Your generosity can make a significant difference in her battle against this disease and help her envision a brighter future.
Please join us in supporting Mina by donating whatever amount you can. Your kindness and generosity will give Mina the strength and resources she needs to fight hard and reclaim her future.
These funds will be used specifically to help Barbara and Dave pay their monthly bills like the mortgage, and also the extra travel expenses in the treatment. Many things that medical insurance does not cover. This will be a long journey.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
With gratitude, Amy Gardiner and Mindy Dalzell
