Support Mindy Browning's Cancer Battle

We are raising money to help with the medical costs for Mindy Browning's upcoming surgery, scans, and radiation therapy and whatever else comes her way as she fights thyroid cancer. She had a biopsy on the 19th of this February, and by Friday the 21st, they had the results posted to her MyChart. She had an appointment the following Monday with the endocrinologist to go over the results of the malignant nodules. We met with a surgical oncologist, and we will know more about scheduling surgery soon. We are worried about the cancer having spread. We need to find out the pathology from the thyroid removal as well as finding answers about the nodules that were found on CT scans of her lungs that weren't there previously. She is dealing with a lot of pain in her collarbone on the left side and in the middle of her chest.

Mindy and I have known each other since we were 10 years old. She always made me happy when I was around her. We never dated when we were growing up. We were always good friends that just loved hanging out and laughing. There was a sense of calm and happiness whenever we were around each other.

Later in our mid-thirties we found each other after our first marriages ended and we began to just go to the movies or go to dinner whenever we both had a day off. Every time we were together it seemed like we wanted to spend more time together and it began to be apparent to both of us that we never wanted to be apart. We got married in May of 2010. I have never been happier than I have been with my wife, Mindy. She is my best friend. She is a wonderful mom to our kids. I believe that God gave her to me and vice versa. We pray constantly that she will be healed of this cancer and have a long happy life. She has made my life so full of joy. I can't lose her. We are both determined to fight this cancer. We are going get her well and feeling good again! We love you all and appreciate any help you can give.
