On July 23rd, Mindy Eaves, age 45, experienced a life-changing motorcycle accident. Struck by a truck and airlifted to the hospital, Mindy’s journey since that day has been nothing short of a battle for survival.

The Accident:

The collision resulted in severe injuries: a compound fracture of her femur, multiple breaks in her pelvis, a broken elbow, and shattered bones in her foot. Since then, Mindy has endured multiple surgeries, including a rod placement in her leg, a complex seven-hour operation on part of her pelvis, and more surgeries planned to repair the rest of her pelvis, foot and elbow as well as a skin graph for her leg.

Immediate Needs:

Mindy’s hospital is nearly two hours from home, making it difficult for her husband Bubba and their family to visit regularly. With Bubba by her side constantly, unable to work, and Mindy only able to receive half of her income on disability, the family is facing a significant financial burden.

Financial Breakdown:

Daily Expenses: Covering rent, utilities, and household costs.

Medical Bills: While insurance will cover some expenses, there are significant out-of-pocket costs.

Travel Expenses: Costs for Bubba and the kids to travel back and forth to the hospital.
