Support Miranda's Urgent Roof Repairs
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Miranda and last year my roof started leaking. First, it came down through my light fixtures in my kitchen. Later, it moved to water pouring in my front room, then my bathroom. Lastly, it was leaking in my bedroom. I called insurance, but they stated it was due to wear and tear and not covered by insurance. I immediately started calling for loans; sadly, I have $10,000 in collections for medical bills, so it was not an option. I contacted DHS and Eightcap only to find out I make too much money to qualify for those services. I live paycheck to paycheck, and all of my paycheck goes to insurance, child support, bills, and food. I managed to save $1,000 before Christmas, and then we needed to replace the tires on our vehicle, our septic needed to be pumped, and Christmas happened. I had to start saving all over again. I've managed to save about $1,500, but the rainy season is upon us, and a wind storm damaged our tarps. Ahhh, the tarps. That's also taken money to get the tarps to minimize the damage. Here is the thing, I have started selling my belongings to try to get a new roof only to find those things are not worth a whole lot, and after we get enough to replace the outside, I have so much inside that also needs to be fixed. We're going to have to take down the ceilings and replace all of the insulation. At this point, I feel like I'm living in my own personal hell. I want to start living my life and stop surviving. I need a new roof for my sanity. I can't keep going like this. Anything you could donate would literally mean the world to me! I'm not someone that asks for help; I'm someone that just takes care of it myself. I also have a CashApp if you prefer to donate there: $ImmaPotato88.
Again, I appreciate anything, even a share to get my story out there. Thank you.
