Support Misfit Pencils' Global Competition Dream

Hello reader. My name is Jay, and I am a parent of one of the five girls on the Misfit Pencils, a team in a program called Destination Imagination. Destination Imagination (DI) is a global, volunteer-led nonprofit organization that hosts team challenges for students to develop and showcase their creative problem-solving skills through a project-based, STEAM-focused competition. My wife is their team manager.

Though the program is offered in our school district, we learned after winning state that we do not have the financial support to compete in the global competition in Kansas City, MO. After witnessing their hard work and their reactions to winning 1st place at the state competition, we don't want to disappoint the girls by saying we're unable to attend the global competition due to funding issues. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that can impact their academic futures. Also, we have an opportunity to represent Warren City Schools, the state of Ohio, and our great country at the global competition. A down payment of $2,000 is due by Wed, April 16th. The remaining balance is due by Fri, May 16th. Please assist in fulfilling the dream of these young, deserving girls. Thanks in advance.
