Support Miss Alexis compete in Spain with TEAM CANADA!

Alexis is 9 years old and has been dancing at Not Just Another Dance Studio for 7 years. She has been a part of the competitive team since 2020; dancing various styles such as tap, jazz, acro, hip hop, contemporary and lyrical. She has performed solo’s, duets, and trios, mainly in tap, however she has been branching out into jazz this past year. Alexis works hard in the studio and is always ready for challenge.

This year she had the chance to audition for World Performers International children’s large tap team and MADE THE TEAM!! She will be representing Ontario on Team Canada in July 2025 in Spain.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Alexis, and as you may know we think she was born with those tap shoes on her feet! She loves everything about dance; she loves helping with dance, she loves performing and dancing and now she gets to do it on a world stage with some of her peers.

Contributions will go towards her $2,500 Team Registration Fee (which covers her costume fee, entry fee, choreography fee, Dance World Cup Membership Fee, group rehearsal fees, Team Tracksuit, stage rehearsal in Toronto fee and more!) as well as her travel and accommodation expenses.

One of the major reasons we have selected this team is their philosophy as it is to respect studio owners/directors, as they are part of the process when allowing their students to work outside their home studio. They ensure there is no interruption to a students’ regular season when choosing to be part of the National Dance Team.

World Performers International is a National Dance Team that competes in Acro, Ballet, Ballet Fusion, Jazz, Hip Hop, Commercial, Tap, Folklore, National and Modern/Contemporary at the DANCE WORLD CUP (EUROPE) that invites its team members to train with world leading master teachers, explore local culture through excursions, and experience food tastings and local performance events in the host city. Canadian dancers will also be excited to engage with and observe over 6000 dancers world-wide during the Dance World Cup events.
