Hi, my name is Autumn Rae.  I am your reigning 2022 Miss Black CA USA representing the entire state of California and would love your support.  I will be competing in the 2022 Miss Black USA Scholarship Pageant, viving for the national title of the  2023 Miss Black USA.   I am raising funds for wardrobe, travel, training and much more in preparation of this national competition.   Moreover, Lu Sierra, the talented former supermodel, and world’s leading runway expert for the modeling industry and many major pageant systems such as Miss America, Americas Ideal Miss, Volunteer America, and Miss USA/Miss Universe to name just a few, is one of the many sponsors preparing me for the national 2022 Miss Black USA Scholarship Pageant that will be held August 7, 2022, in Washington, D.C.  and broadcasted live on Fox Soul.

ABOUT ME
Autumn Rae is a charismatic individual, who is no stranger to adversities, but an asset to the betterment of society! Graduating in The Class of 2016; attending Cleveland Heights High School, Autumn was heavily involved in their Vocal Music Department.  Productions, such as, The Phantom of The Opera, Grease, and Hello Dolly, to name a few, were all productions she was casted in during her duration of senior high.  Following her grandfather, Sonny Turner, lead member of The Platters, and grandmother, Leuvenia Eaton, leading lady of The Metrotones, and writer of their song “Skitter Skatter; Autumn is also an independent songwriter, who is excited to share her artistry with the world!

The most important relationship in Autumn’s life is her relationship with God! Through every test, and trial, she has been able to overcome them through faith, and perseverance. She serves as a worship leader, as well as a Sunday School teacher, from ages 13 to 23, at Progression Ministries, under the tutelage of Apostle Marion Johnson.  At Progression, Autumn volunteers her services to “Take It to The Streets”, which involves preparing meals for the homeless community, and traveling throughout the city of Lancaster, CA, to deliver them to those in need.  Autumn believes that our greatest struggles become our passions; and if ever you are in a position to uplift someone else, that is an opportunity to change a life.

Driven by her love for children, Autumn is a Teacher's Aide at Manzanita Elementary School, located in Palmdale, CA. She has had the privilege of helping students from ages 5 to 10, with speech improvement, reading comprehension, mathematics, and other daily routines.  As a gateway to her recruitment at Manzanita Elementary School, she worked as a Behavioral Technician, with children and their families dealing with behavioral challenges.  Autumn has a strong desire to pursue her education in Early Childhood Development. Furthering her education will help her in her efforts of outreach for underprivileged youth.

Although it is important to have the knowledge and skill to work with children, she believes it is equally important to exude compassion, and the desire to make an impact in their lives.

Aside from career ambitions, the most rewarding job is taking care of her mother, Brigitte.  In the year 1998, Autumn's mother was diagnosed with a disease called Multiple Sclerosis.  As her In Home Care Provider, it has allowed her to have compassion in various areas of life. Her mother’s youthful spirit, and ability to stay positive, has pushed her to go after every dream and aspiration that she has!  She remains her driving force, and biggest cheerleader!

Autumn’s hopes throughout life, as well as Miss Black USA, is to encourage others to use their God given gifts to bless others!  She has learned to find the beauty in uncertainties, which bring about innovation, and an opportunity to embrace EVERY struggle.  As Miss Black California USA 2022, she hopes to be the role model who provokes change, transparency, and growth!

Thank you in advance for your prayers and generous contribution to my journey to become the next Miss Black USA of which would be a first for the state of California in  the national  pageant's 36 year in existance.

Love
Autumn Rae
