Support Misty's Family After Her Tragic Passing

With a passion for law, Misty Dawn Smith received an Associate of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies on February 24, 2000. She then began her career as a Paralegal in Pasadena, California in 2002 and continued this path after moving to Austin, Texas in 2005 up until her sudden passing.

She is survived by her three children: Shelbie, Zack and Korina; two grandchildren: Lillian and Phillip; her mother, Sharon; and two fur babies: Jazzy and Jersey.

In her spare time, Misty loved watching drag racing, having fun at the casino, and spending time with her loved ones. She wasn’t going anywhere without having her hair and nails done as this was her favorite way of expressing herself. She loved bringing people together which is why she took pride in her annual 4th of July gatherings.

Misty tragically passed away on July 6, 2024, after a short battle with Myasthenia Gravis.

As a single mother, the family is doing their best to tackle the additional expenses caused by this sudden passing. The family could use any monetary support you are graciously willing to provide.

The family is currently planning a Celebration of Life in August and the details will be forthcoming.
