Support MJ's Move to a Better Living Situation

Hello! For those who don’t know me, I’m MJ and I’m 25 living in the Portland area in Oregon. I’ve been working as a barista at Starbucks since 2019 and am a part of our union (Starbucks workers United) and enjoy/ find importance in community outreach. The last few years I’ve been very blessed to be living Oregon but have had a few unfortunate living situations where I don’t feel fully comfortable living in the place I’m currently in. Thankfully I’ve found a new living situation that will be good for me, however In order to move into this new place I’m going to need help with some of my move in costs. Being a barista I make enough to cover my current costs, but will not be able to cover the overlap of two separate rents (my new apartment move in is on April 11th, and I owe rent for the month of April for my current living situation as well). Any donation or even just sharing this would be so appreciated. The necessary funds I won’t be able to cover is mostly just my move in rent on the 11th of April ($573.50) as I will already be paying rent for the last month of my current lease. Any other money past that donated will be going to basic move in costs like groceries and toiletries and help with first months utilities. Thank you for taking the time to read!- MJ
