Help Mohammed Emeshal Get His Family Out Of Gaza

We are urgently asking for financial support for our friend Mohammed who is currently in Gaza. I met Mohammed in December of 2023 and have talked with him every single day since. I have met his beautiful wife and sweet children, and I have seen first hand how difficult this time has been for them all. He has become a good friend and a person I care a great deal about.
This is Mohammed’s story.
Mohammed is a 30-year-old father of three from Gaza City. Before Israel's current siege on Gaza, Mohammed described his life as beautiful. He owned a home he loved in the Al-Shati refugee camp, owned and operated a successful cleaning business and was an active member of his community. However, Mohammed and his family were forced to flee Gaza City in October, after their home was completely destroyed in an air strike. In an instant, they lost all of their belongings, including valuables and some emergency savings.
There was no safe place to live or a secure way to obtain food or water, so Mohammed, his wonderful wife Izdihar (29), and their three beautiful children, Hassan (6), Abdul Karim (4), and Anas (17 months), embarked on the difficult and dangerous 10-mile journey to Rafah. They were forced to navigate through bombings, and past the grim sights of fallen bodies and menacing tanks. Mohammed did his best to shield his children from the violence all around them, however his children arrived in Rafah traumatized with insomnia and night terrors.
Life in Rafah
Mohammed and his wife were able to find refuge in a camp in Rafah and are now living in a small 3x3 tent, doing their best to survive and keep their children safe.
They have since had to move again, this time near the sea by Khan Yunis. Their encampment is overcrowded and available supplies are dwindling. They escaped with nothing but the clothes they were wearing and have no money of their own to buy needed supplies. Their diet, when affordable, consists mostly of potatoes, rice, and lentils. Cooking requires firewood, a luxury that costs $3 a day. Power banks are essential as they keep his phone charged so he is able to maintain contact with loved ones and friends outside of Gaza, and allow him to operate a lamp at night so his small children won't be as afraid.
The family's situation has grown so desperate that Mohammed had to sell his wife's phone for food, and soon, his phone may follow. His days are now consumed with gathering water and scarce resources to sustain his family.
This is an opportunity to help one family.
As the conditions in Gaza deteriorate, Mohammed’s family is in crisis. They have lost everything during this siege. Funds raised will be sent directly to Mohammed and will be used to: 1.) Purchase needed supplies; 2.) To evacuate to safety if possible; or 3.) help the family rebuild in Gaza if that is their only option. This includes necessary expenses like food, housing, furnishings, clothing and medical care.
Please stand with us in solidarity to offer a lifeline to Mohammed and his family during this dire time of need.
