Support Molly & Tim while they support Luke

Please join our families in support of the Willenbring Family while Luke fights his battle against Neuroblastoma. After months of uncertainty and increasingly failing health, Luke was diagnosed May 13 while at UW Children’s hospital. Many appointments, tests and scans allowed his team of Doctors to develop his treatment plan with Chemotherapy starting May 29. The next 18 months will be filled with chemo, radiation, tests, surgeries, blood draws, and many other medical interventions…some at Gundersen Health, others at UW-Madison…whatever it takes to win this battle.

Through all of this, Shane will be leaving for school at South Dakota State...playing football, studying Jackrabbit History 101, and doing what freshmen do. Eva will be doing things a “normal” sophomore in HS does…learn to drive, sports, phones, and friends. Molly and Tim will continue working as needed…while trying to spend as much time as possible with Luke and his siblings.

This is where we need your help. Families can save, families can plan, but NO ONE anticipates one of their healthy children becoming critically sick. Trips to and from Madison, increased/unimagined medical expenses, and other little costs all add up. But the inability to work their typical jobs is the biggest hinderance. Molly and Tim both have PLT through their jobs and federal law allows them to use FMLA…but FMLA is unpaid. They have expenses…they have insurance premiums…they have a life to maintain for THE FAMILY. And the one thing they BOTH want is to be able to spend TIME with Luke, Shane, and Eva throughout this endeavor. Please help us lighten the burden through your prayers of support and your financial contribution. Any money raised will be used to cover “daily expenses”, medical bills, and anything they can do to keep things as NORMAL as possible. We have admittedly aimed high in hopes that the treatment is a success and lasts the 18 months.
