Update: Momo No Longer Needs Surgery

Update: Momo is no longer is at risk of needing surgery. I have stopped accepting donations. I will keep the story up in case he takes a turn for the worst this following week. Thank you to everyone who donated and shared. All donations will be used to pay off his vet bill and to save for any future emergencies he may have.

Hi, my name is Yara and I’m fundraising to pay for my cat Momo’s surgery costs. He was taken to the emergency vet around 5pm on April 30th, 2024 for a urinary blockage. I am unable to afford the 3 day hospitalization they quoted me for $8,900 so I have to take Momo home with medication in hopes he gets better within the next 24 hours. This cost was $560. In the worst case scenario that he doesn’t get better in the next 24 hours I want to give him the surgery without the hospitalization which reduces the cost from $8,900 closer to $1,300. If I am unable to raise enough I will use what was raised to put him to sleep so he isn’t in any further pain. I have had Momo since November 2022, he means the world to me.

I pray that I can raise enough money to help and save him. If Momo is better within 24 hours I will use any money raised to cover the vet costs of today. Thank you in advance.
