Support Mom's Battle Against Cancer

Please help my mom win the fight against Stage 3 Colon Cancer.

My mom has spent her entire life being the sole provider to her three children. In 2018, she beat uterine cancer through surgical intervention and at a screening early this year, it was discovered she had colon cancer. Upon further examination and surgery to remove parts of her colon, it was determined to have already spread and progressed to her lymph nodes.

Due to the late stage and the spread, both intravenous chemo and chemo pills will be needed to help my mother fight this cancer this time around. My siblings and I are seeking donations to help cover the remainder of the out-of-pocket cost of chemo and to help my mother with living expenses while she’s in treatment. Even while in treatment, my mother plans to maintain her current job to help her own expenses but none of us can predict the outcome of the effects chemo will have and we’ve already used almost all of her PTO on prior surgeries for this and doctors appointments.

The chemo copay is requested upfront the day of treatment for each session and we cannot start treatment until we have enough money to begin a few sessions otherwise it won’t be effective enough if not continued as planned or appointments are missed. We also don’t want to wait and allow it to spread further and cause more damage.
