Support Monica Heffernan in Her Time of Loss

My name is Lina Litonjua. I am organizing this GoFundMe for my oldest and dearest friend, Monica Heffernan, who sadly lost her mother, Anita Triana, on August 2, 2024.

I've known Monica since first grade. She has always been someone who will step in and help others, regardless of what difficulties are going on in her own life, and try to make things better for them. Unfortunately, it is now Monica who needs help with the expenses of her mother's burial costs. The benefits of the life insurance policy her mother left were not enough to cover the costs, and the mortuary will not bury her until the costs are paid in full.

On top of this tragedy, Monica's son, Matthew, just suffered a bad fall on Monday, 5 August, and is facing extensive surgery to repair his left arm, which was badly broken. As you might imagine, Monica is suffering horrible stress right now.

We are trying to raise at least $7000 for Monica to cover the costs of her mother's burial, and any other incidental associated costs.

We would be very grateful for any amount that can be donated to help Monica during this incredibly difficult time.
