Support Monica Mora's Recovery Journey

Hi, I am Lana Lala Corales, and I am starting this Go Fund Me to help my dear friend in need, Monica Mora. At the young age of 10, she was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, which is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the lining of the digestive tract. Monica has endured more than any one person should. Most recently, she had her 20 th surgery and needs at least 8 weeks off from work as a radiology nurse. Not only is Monica a compassionate dedicated nurse to her patients; but she is also a single mother to her beautiful daughter, Delilah. Monica never asks for help so that is why I am asking for her. Despite all the surgeries, lengthy hospital stays, and countless doctor appointments, Monica always stays positive. She always says, “ It could be worse.” Unfortunately, Monica is not only battling her own hardships at this time but is also facing a difficult time with her daughter being recently hospitalized for Septic PE. Monica is still recovering from her own surgery and is now back in the hospital to be at her daughter’s side. We are praying antibiotics will help, and Delilah can recover quickly. Since Monica has to be a hospital patient so frequently. She does not have enough PTO to be able to solely focus on Delilah’s recovery without facing the burden of the extra financial strain.
