Support Monica & Whalen!

We are raising money to support our good friends Monica & Whalen.

In 2019, Monica was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, just a few months after giving birth to their son, Rowan, and just before starting her new job as an Assistant Professor at Western Carolina University.

She valiantly perserved through chemotherapy and a mastectomy and in early 2020 had beat breast cancer. Unfortunately, by the fall of 2020, the cancer was back in its aggressive form and not responding very well to chemo this time around. They are hoping to find a clinical trial that she will qualify for.

We started this campaign to raise some money to help make their life easier in whatever way possible. Taking care of a 2 year old is exhausting even without cancer!
