Support Monica’s travel to care for her ailing mother.

Hello, my name is Monica. I have never done anything like this before, but here we are. As some of you know, my mother has recently been diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive form of cancer and it is stage four. I am not one to post these sorts of things on social media, so this is the first that many of you are hearing about this. My mom lives in Ohio and I am in California which is proving to be tortuous in this situation. Every single day of the last couple of months has been pure agony for my mom and she has suffered through many setbacks. I myself am suffering because I have not been able to be there with her and she has not even been able to speak through all of this.

To make matters worse, I myself have been unable to work for several months due to health issues I am challenged with. I am here asking for your help to be able to travel back and forth to Ohio from California a few times over the next few months. Unfortunately due to my own circumstances, I am not able to stay in Ohio for long periods of time. Because of that I would love to have the means to be able to travel to Ohio as needed and be able to travel at the spur of the moment. I would also use the funds to enable myself to maintain my own home and provide a safe, comfortable home for my precious furbabies. The pain and stress that I am experiencing on a daily basis is overwhelming because everything is so uncertain right now. However, it is nothing compared to what my mother is suffering through. I’m sure that anyone who has been through this ordeal or something similar knows exactly how I am feeling right now not being there able to be there. I just want to be able to see her, support her, and most importantly tell her how very much I love her. I have never been so scared in my life.
