Help Monse's family lay her to rest ️️
Hi all, my family and I are unfortunately asking for help for my sister Monse.
If you know Monse you know she is the most selfless, caring, pure hearted person alive. She was born with Turner syndrome, a genetic disorder that comes with a lot of medical complications and required her to have a kidney transplant at 5 and now needing heart surgery. The surgery took place on August 23rd. What was supposed to be a 8-9 hour procedure took close to 13 hours.
Unfortunately, there were many complications that arose. Monse spent the next 22 days fighting in the Cardiovascular ICU on a ventilator, dialysis and on ecmo life support. We were there every day to sit with, talk to, pray with and love on her but sadly on September 14th her poor body couldn't fight any longer. She passed away comfortably and peacefully at 2:38pm at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. Our family is beyond heartbroken, devastated and lost but the one thing we know is that we have to get Monse back to North Carolina to put her to rest. It's what she would have wanted; to be with her family who love her so much. We know not everyone is able and we would appreciate if you can share this post. We are thankful for everyone who loved Monse the way we did, the ones who saw the true heart of gold she had. We appreciate the love, support and prayers more than we can express. ❤️
