Support Morgan's Dream of Studying Abroad!

Hello, family and friends! My name is Morgan and I'm currently in my junior year of college at Maryville University, pursuing a degree in psychology to eventually become a child therapist. My passion for psychology and working with children stems from my own personal experience with counseling/therapeutic services during childhood, and a deep interest in understanding how humans function, process emotions, and interact with each other. By providing guidance and therapeutic services for children and their families who are experiencing adversity and are in vulnerable positions, I hope to give back to the community in a way that truly matters and will help to change the trajectory of many children's lives in a positive way.
I've been working full-time in order to support myself through school as a full-time student, which has taught me the value in hard work and perseverance. As a result of my work ethic and academic achievements, I've been offered an opportunity to study abroad in Oxford, England! While in Oxford, I'll be participating in a sociology program that immerses me in the culture and historical context of England by conducting field research through natural observations, analysis and interviews of the local people. I'll be able to apply the knowledge from this hands-on experience to my future career in psychology. Being able to study abroad has always been a dream of mine, and I would greatly appreciate any assistance in making this incredible opportunity become a reality. If you have the means and are willing, I would be most grateful for a contribution of any amount to reach my goal of $1,700 to cover expenses for my trip to Oxford, England. Thank you so much for your consideration, encouragement, love and support. As the British would say, cheers!
