Support Morine Russell's Funeral Costs

I am Ann Elliott, classmate and friend of Morine Russell, a Merl Grove High School Alumni of the class of 1980. It was with profound sadness that I had to announce her passing a few weeks ago. Morine passed away on November 28th, 2024. Her passing was unexpected and such a great loss to family and friends. Morine was such a joy and delight to everyone who came across her path. She would always greet you with a cheery smile and use her amazing sense of humor to get through life's challenges after having a stroke so many years ago that left her paralyzed in her right arm. Morine was not expected to live past 25 according to her doctors but made it to 61 years old, and she was grateful for every year that she surpassed their report.

Due to the untimely and unexpected passing of our beloved sister Morine Russell on November 28th, 2024, the family is experiencing financial challenges for her funeral and reached out to me for support and assistance from classmates. Her cousin Tatrice has undertaken the arrangements for her funeral and made some down payment to the funeral package but still is in need of financial help, namely the burial plot, materials, and repass, which includes food and location. The funeral had to be pushed further to January 11th, 2025, due to not having the finances for the funeral.

I am therefore asking all our alumni to assist the family in putting Morine to rest. Your financial contribution at this time will be greatly appreciated no matter how small. I hope to forward this amount by December 31st, 2024, to finance the funeral arrangements.
