Support Morris's Road to Recovery and Repairs

This GoFundMe request is for assistance with bills after I was involved in a vehicle accident.

I was on the way to Lowe's on my ELECTRIC MOPED when a smelly gas vehicle pulled out into traffic right in front of me!

I used my dual hydraulic disc brakes, but I was still introduced to the pavement as the moped slid underneath me. Ouch.No fun.

The car driver tapped his brake lights and then sped off.

Fortunately, a pair of Good Samaritans stopped, helped me stand up, and pushed my moped off to the side of the road.

I was able to walk, so like the Army dog that I was trained to be, I brushed off the asphalt and blood, got on my electric moped, and rode it home—about three blocks—with the Good Samaritans following.

The Palmdale Regional Medical Center has a portable X-ray machine that they wheeled right into my ER room. Fascinating. Very high tech! They took two dozen pictures of various body parts and then a CT scan of my body.

When the nurse practitioner opened the lab and test results, we were both surprised that there were no broken ribs, no broken bones, no internal injuries!

Yahoo! Superman lives!

Just a lot of bruises, road rash, and a lot of muscle swelling! Ouch!

Fortunately, I was wearing canvas pants from Tractor Supply Company.

If I was 20 years younger...Fuhgeddaboudit!

Now, it’s a different matter. With age comes wisdom... and creaky bones.

My electric moped also has a lot of damage.

So, if anyone wants to help get my electric moped back on the road, that would be great . I use it to go everywhere. I want to add some more driving lights just to make sure drivers can see me… and a LOUD car horn! It’s nice to dream.

Is that a sad song of violin music that I hear in the background?
