Support Moss's Dream: Compete at Nationals

I want to start by saying that I am always so proud of Moss! All her life she has made goals, figured out a plan, and forged ahead with achieving them. From selling 2,500 boxes of girl scout cookies to get to Disney World, to owning a horse, to graduating early and getting into her top choice college, she has worked hard and persevered. And she's done it! This kid knows how to make her dreams come true and I couldn't be more proud to call her my daughter.

Her newest endeavor started this past fall. She's always wanted to compete in horse shows and an opportunity came up for her to do that through the Youth Equestrian Development Association. Her team at Winding Creek, led by the wonderful Coach Grace, is small but mighty. Moss went into this just hoping

to better herself, get some showing experience for college,and maybe place a couple times in her category. She started formal lessons in September and by her 2nd show was placing in the top 5 (some first place!) We have just found out that she has done so well that she qualifies for the national competition in Tennessee in June!!

This is where our village comes in. I'm sure you can guess that all these shows cost money. And Nationals is going to be exponentially more. I would love to be able to foot the whole bill for this. But, life just isn't that way right now. So I'm humbly asking our family and friends or financial support, so this amazing kid can compete at a national level in her true passion. And, yes, it feels little bit weird to me, and her, to be doing this. But I will do whatever I need to to support my kids! Consider it a donation for the cookies we didn't hit anyone up for this year
